Ax Throwing for a Perfect Date Night

When was the last time that you went on a date? Most people hear the word "date" and think about a boyfriend and girlfriend going to the movies, out for dinner, or staying home for "Netflix and chill." However, dates aren't only for the unmarried and young.

Today we're giving Boise residents a new idea. It's time to take your significant other on a date night for some ax throwing. Ax throwing, at Bodies in Motion, of course, is the perfect way to spark change in your relationship, get to know each other better, and try something new without fear. Who knows, you might even find you're the next ax throwing champion!

The Case for Dates

When you first met your significant other, you had to go on dates to get to know one another. Many times the dating period stops once you meet that special someone and the fun and excitement is now scarce and few. In that case, you wouldn't be alone. Many long term couples don't take planned time for dates. Before we can get into why our ax throwing is so helpful, we need to talk about why dating, even after commitment, is vital.

Dates are great for commited couples to reconnect again. If you and your significant other have been working relentlessly, you might have had very little time to sit down and talk to each other like old times. Scheduling a date will give you that time and allow you to relax. Dates are also great ways to try something new together.

If you've been feeling like everything is getting just a little too routine, then a date to somewhere new, or involving something you've never tried before, could be just what you need to make life a little bit more fun. Who wants to go to the bowling alley for the 1000th time when you could try rock climbing or ax throwing together? Who knows, you might find that you both have a new passion or hobby!

Why Ax Throwing is the Perfect Date

When it comes to date ideas, a common list is a dinner, movies, bowling, hiking, or shopping. Maybe you threw in Top Golf or a shooting range to your list. However, Ax throwing rarely tops or even makes it onto a date idea list.

Due to that, you can bet that your planned date will be something he (or she) never expects. Not only will that get you points, but it allows for both of you to try your hand at something completely new and unexpected.

Additionally, at Bodies in Motion, ax throwing isn't just about throwing axes, though that may be the bulk of it, it's also about having fun and having a conversation. Unlike the movies, ax throwing allows you to talk to one another. The more, the merrier as our lanes allow for conversations between the whole group or just the couple.

Lastly, if your still not convinced to take date night to an ax-throwing studio, then we have one last thing to tell you, think about more exciting or fun date night options. Many people would start to limit their options to where drinks are available. However, one might not want to drink on a weeknight.

That's why we suggest ax throwing as not only the perfect date but the perfect date for a weekday as well! Without drinking, you will have the time of your life learning something new, talking with others, getting to know one another, and in general having fun. No more waiting for the weekend to enjoy a night out, come to Bodies in Motion for an ax-throwing date today! Of course, you could go somewhere else, but you are on the Bodies in Motion blog after all.

What Our Clients Are Saying

Awesome place to take kiddos to use up their energy. Our son is almost 2. What I liked about this place was that we could join him in exploring the play area. The slides are big enough. They also have adult classes. I love their kickboxing class.

Becca M.

I have a 2 year old and an 8 month old. Mornings here are lovely when it's quiet- the 2 year old can climb and slide every where while the 8 month old can crawl around on the cushioned ground. The coffee is delicious too!
