Peg Wall Tutorial
Instructions
Ensure that you have adequate padding below you!
Lock off Technique (Normal)
- Grab pegs, and pull yourself up into a locked off position, with both elbows at 90 degrees.
- Shift your entire body weight to one arm, while at the same time, taking the other peg out, and reinserting further along the obstacle.
- Repeat to traverse across the obstacle.
- Grab pegs, while arms are straight out.
- Pull yourself up by doing a reverse shrug motion, while at the same time shifting your weight under one arm.
- Take the other peg out, and reinsert it further along the obstacle
- Repeat to traverse across the obstacle.
- Grab pegs, with both palms facing the way you are going to traverse.
- Shift your weight under the arm that is further along the obstacle, while at the same time taking the back peg out, and reinserting it in front of your other hand.
- Repeat these steps to traverse along the obstacle.
- Pullups
- Lock off hold
- Commando pullups
