I love Bodies In Motion!!! I can get a hard & rewarding workout while my 8 year old can play in the coolest inside gym!!! They have the longest inside slide in the northwest!! Super fun!!! -Jaime Moore-McLean; 5 stars Facebook

What a refreshing change from most gym atmospheres. I love the very open spacious layout and the fact that my kids can play while I am taking a class. It might appear a little chaotic to some but as a mom of 4 it just feels like home only with fabulous trainers that get you motivated and MOVING!!! - Courtney P; Thumbs-up Groupon
Thank you B.I.M. This is the best place for working out and having kids-in-tow... for all you parents. It is a great place even if free of kids. Check them out!! - Jane W; Thumbs-up Groupon
BIM is the ultimate family fitness venue! The classes are all amazing (if you like a good butt kickin) The staff is very friendly and always helpful! The environment is all about family health, fitness and fun! This is definitely the best exercise facility in Boise.
The Spartan trainings are not only for past, present, or future Spartans, but also great for anyone just wanting a great workout! If you are looking for a new family friendly facility, look no further! Their summer camps are amazing too! - Shannon Drees-Jares; 5 stars Facebook

I work out here and take my kids to the play area. I personally love the workout which I have been doing for almost 2 years. I am in the best shape of my life. Facility is always extremely clean to go along with professional and friendly staff.

I've been doing the Kickboxing and SGX classes here for about 9 months now. To put it simply, they are a TON of fun even if hard work. It's never boring or repetitive.
The variety of workouts, instructors and music keep it exciting and refreshing. I've noticed changes physically and emotionally and feel so much better every day I go with having more energy and better sleep. My only regret is not starting sooner!
The instructors are encouraging, supportive and inspiring. If you need to modify for an injury, you're just starting out and/ or are hesitant about a certain exercise, they will suggest other ones to keep you moving.
They get to know you and sometimes give a little gentle nudge if they think you can do more. It's the opposite of intimidating! Everyone is friendly, courteous and professional. It's a unique atmosphere with really great people who genuinely care about your fitness goals. - Carrie Pretti; 5 stars Facebook

Get moving! This is the place to play. The cozy, friendly atmosphere creates the perfect environment for your whole family to find something that's fun.
Bodies in Motion not only provides fitness classes for kids and adults, they serve healthy food, and they establish relationships. My kids love Bodies in Motion because they get to run and play.

I have only been to adult fitness classes here for just over a week. When I first visited, I was impressed with the variety that was on offer for all age groups. The fitness classes are excellent, varied, challenging and fun.
I have heard nothing but great things about Bodies in Motion from friends who utilize the martial arts and other child-oriented programs. The coffee and flatbreads are great too. - Anonymous; 5 stars Google

Bodies in Motion is Fantastic! I completed my first Ultimate Body Challenge in November and am now addicted to the classes. The classes are challenging, intense, and fun. The instructors are some of the best.
They are always encouraging, yet they push you to achieve more. I am currently taking their mini "holiday booty camp" and can't wait for the next UBC class. - Anonymous; 5 stars Google

My family and I love coming here! The people are great and everyone is very welcoming and encouraging regardless of where you are in your personal fitness journey. We have been coming since September of last year and my wife and I are doing more than we ever thought possible. Our kid can't get enough and always asks if today is a Bodies in Motion day. Seeing her run around and be active motivates us to do more too so we all win! - Dave Carney; 5 stars Facebook
This place is a game-changer for people who want to be fit and also have children. I have been going to Bodies in Motion since almost its beginning and it is a safe, FUN place for my kids while I work out. Bodies in Motion provides a family friendly community of friends we have built up through taking Fitness classes, and in general the staff are just fantastic.
I am in the best shape of my life at near 40 years old, I've made friends, I always feel welcomed, and my wife and I both get to provide a weekly positive example to our children... who both began taking Taekwondo classes where they are learning discipline and self respect.
If there were a way to give this place a thousand stars on Facebook, I would. I cannot rate it highly enough. - Kelly Hagans; 5 stars Facebook

Most family friendly place to workout in Boise! My wife and I have done the Thai-Robics classes, the UBC, the Sport Fusion and taken our kids to Strong Tots, open play, and currently have our daughter going to pre-school here.
We've both done the Ropes Course, had great coffee there, and are wanting to try out their Date Night for parents as soon as our littlest one is old enough. We used to go to Golds, do day care with grandma, etc... but this place is PERFECT for a family like ours.
We can do all we want to do to stay healthy, while our children learn great habits and have an awesome play area to do it in. Not only that, but Duncan and Rachel who own it are constantly improving services, facilities and checking to see if people are happy.
My wife and I could not recommend this place more highly! - Anonymous; 5 stars Google

I have been taking fitness classes through Bodies in Motion now for a few months and I must say that I enjoy everything about this place. The staff is fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and truly cares about each individual that walks through the door.
In addition, the fact that they have a play area indoors is also a major plus! My 10 and 7 year old LOVE to climb and play on the play equipment! They beg to go with me to my fitness classes so that they can play!
Bodies in Motion has something for everyone, whether you are looking for a Zumba class, a karate class for you or the kids, a place to enjoy a latte with friends while your kids play, or an exciting experience on the high ropes course, Bodies in Motion is the place to be!!!
I really enjoy Bodies in Motion and feel at home when I walk through the doors! I am so glad that I found such a friendly, caring, and fun atmosphere to get into shape while having a great time!!! - Anonymous; 5 stars Google

Bodies in Motion is a unique and special place. I never cared for the gym. I joined a challenge in January and am hooked. I have lost weight, am healthier and stronger. Owners and staff are skilled and knowledgeable and care about my progress.
I feel like I can grab and talk to them about any aspect. I love the family atmosphere - parents can bring their kids and they can play on the equipment while parents work out - sometimes exercising right along with their parent.
While there are all levels of people in the classes, training for Spartan races, etc., I don't feel intimidated, judged when I go at my own pace. I take both kickboxing and ultimate classes. Workouts are carefully put together and vary all the time - they really kick butt - and I never get bored - the hour goes by so fast.
And I always feel like I worked hard when I leave. They hire great people - all are friendly and fun, but they know their stuff. Lots of laughter in classes. If there was another star I would click on it! :) - Renee Weihe; 5 stars, Facebook

Like Kelly's review before me there is no one word you can use to describe this place. I am just finishing up their Ultimate Body Challenge which is a 10 week butt kick! I have already dropped 10 lbs and 5% body fat!
I feel like I am in the best shape of my life and the staff has taught me that my body can do much more than my mind thinks it can (i.e. Box jumps!). I have so much more confidence and feel like a new person.
I started the program when my son was 8 months old and I would recommend it for any mom wanting to get her body back. I am already in better shape then before I had my son.
The facility itself is great for family and kids. My husband and son come and play while I workout and then we can order delicious food for dinner. I also love the new protein shakes after an AM workout.
I can't say enough great things about BIM. There is so many things going on there it's a great place for anyone! - Robyn A; 5 stars Yelp

Ok, so you know how amped you get listening to Eye of the Tiger when you watch Rocky? Or the Star Wars theme song when it blasts onto the screen? Or maybe when you crank up Rage Against the Machine and rock out with your toddler? What, is that just me? Anyway, THAT is how excited I am to review Bodies in Motion.
I've known the lead instructor and owner for almost fifteen years, and have taken fitness classes from him in four different venues from his lowly beginnings as an assistant Taekwondo student/instructor to now opening his own fitness/karate/daycare/playland/food/coffee complex. And I have to say Duncan Richardson can work you out and run a business like nobody's...well...business.
This place is awesome. The whole concept is to get people moving and healthy. Kids, adults, in shape and obese... everyone fits in here and they really care about you.
First the instructor staff: Duncan the lead is personable and charismatic and can almost will the fat off you. It's amazing. He makes it fun to kill yourself in a thairobics class and I'm pretty sure he could make a root canal a good time.
His wife/biz partner Rachel is an ex BSU cheerleader and mother of four... who looks like she coud whip Schwarzeneggers tail. Ripped! And is also super nice and very good at getting students to work.
Kyndal should've been a drill seargant... heck, maybe she was? Either way, she knows her stuff and does not allow failure in her class. You always get a great workout.
Rhea seems like she's going to be nice to you in class, and comes off so friendly it's disarming... then bam you're sore for a week! Which, is exactly what you want in an instructor. I'm actually sore as I type this from Rhea kicking my butt last night. There are a few other instructors as well, and they're really all awesome.
The facility: Wow. It's got a wave slides that is tied for the largest indoor one in North America. The slide is attached to a kid-zone type climbing gym playland thing... I can't describe it better than that, but it's got slides and obstacles and a little zip line thing... it's cool.
So while your kids play there (or stay in the on-site daycare facility), you can take Karate and/or fitness classes (which run simultaneously). There is a ropes course on site, and if you get hungry there are wraps and pizza and espresso available at the cafe inside. It's brand new and set up perfectly for families on the go... which is what I like best.
I could go on for days: There's after school van pickup, they do birthday parties, and on and on... it's just pretty awesome and I highly recommend you go check it out. I got to partake in the first Thairobics class they held there last night, and it was really impressive. - Kelly H; 5 stars Yelp
