This little ninja had just turned 3 years old when she saw her big brother take a Taekwondo class at Bodies in Motion.

She turned and asked if she could try it, too. Fast forward six years later, and she was ready to test for her first black belt by the age of 9.

Our biggest wish for her during her time spent training is that she would learn perseverance, strength and confidence. With help from her instructors, she accomplished this and more!

We would definitely recommend Bodies in Motion for martial arts training!

My children have been coming to the Bodies in Motion Tae Kwon Do program since we moved here, 6 years ago. My son is a black belt and one of my daughters is testing for black belt later this year. Some of the best parts of this program are:

1) variety of skills. There are units on self defense, grappling, and boxing, in addition to the traditional sparring skill set. I love that my children know how to perform the wrist escape (and other skills) if someone grabs them.

2) many class times available. We were able to continue to attend classes even when our schedules changed with sports, music, etc.

3) being able to bring younger siblings to play on the indoor playground during lessons.

4) the discipline, focus, strength that comes from learning martial arts. My children have written, worked on, and achieved goals of all kinds including physical, self esteem, focus, and teamwork. The physical and mental training they do here has helped in sports, school, and social settings.

5) instructors that genuinely care about and want my children to succeed.

My kids just started TaeKwonDo here and they are loving it!😊 - Valorie Larkins; 5 stars Facebook
We started the Little Ninja's program for my 5 year old son and are loving it! They are great with the kids and I have already noticed an improvement in manners and behavior from my son.

On top of that he loves playing before and after class. Can not recommend the program enough!

Bodies in Motion is awesome.  It offers a top-notch martial arts program for people of all ages.  What a great way to instill confidence in young people and a sense of accomplishment for older people.

The fitness programs include nutritional advice as well as fun and challenging workouts. The comraderie among those in class makes you feel like part of a big fitness family and it keeps you coming back.

I have been taking martial arts and fitness classes at Bodies in Motion and its predecessor for almost ten years now.  Keep up the good work! - Anonymous; 5 stars Google
We've been going to Bodies in Motion since shortly after it opened. This is a mother's dream, especially during these cold, winter months. Recently, we've signed our kids (age 5 and 3) up for Taekwando and they LOVE going to class twice a week.

They are excited about what they are learning and the instruction is top-notch. We've also been to several birthday parties, where everything is done for you, and have enjoyed their "camps" during vacation days from school. Highly recommend checking it out! - Anonymous; 5 stars Google
We love Bodies In Motion!  My kids look forward to their Taekwondo classes every week, and beg us to take them there to play too!  The staff is great, the teachers are wonderful, and they have delicious healthy food too!

Their birthday parties are awesome!  We cannot say enough positive things about this place!

Amazing place! My son has been taking Taekwondo from Mr. Richardson for 2 years. His self confidence and leadership skill has excelled beyond expectations.

Mr. and Mrs. Richardson and staff are amazing. They go the extra mile to help anyone and everyone. Highly recommend this place for daycare, fun place to take kids, taekwondo experience, high ropes.

Jen - Kids love it. I enjoy it.  Slides, climbing, toys, costumes...there is always something for both my boys to play with before and after class in the huge gym.  The Little Ninjas class is awesome for my 4 year old because he gets to play, exercise, and get "homework" like "teamwork" and "memory recall."  I like the comfy couches for the families and their Flatbread restaurant inside. - Anonymous; 5 stars Google
Bodies in Motion is a unique facility that offers adult fitness, obstacle course for children, a preschool, martial arts for all ages, food services, as well as parent's night outs. I have visited Bodies in Motion many times and each time the customer service has been top-notch and the building (to include bathrooms) are always clean. I am grateful this facility is in my area of town! This is a great place to bring kids to play while the parents can kick up their heels and relax! - Brandi R; 5 stars Google
We first start going to BIM last summer for tae kwon do. Their Little Ninjas program is just the right amount of fun and study for the little tots.  The instructor, Rachel (also owner) is amazing with the kiddos - keeps them focused, attentive, and having fun.

Then we started at the preschool, and this is when I really feel in love with BIM.  The preschool program here is amazing!  Sarah, Lexi, Lindsey and Jessica are beyond wonderful with the kids.  I love them all and I could not have been happier with Tyler's preschool experience.

The curriculum is strong and interactive, and includes a lot of physical activity which is great for little boys (and girls!)  I am very happy that my son is able to continue spending time there before and after Kindergarten.

I feel so at ease knowing the BIM team is taking care of him during the day and transporting him to and from school safely.  I'm really appreciative of this program and all the staff here.

The place itself can seem kind of overwhelming when you first go in - kids running everywhere, classes going on, adults hanging out drinking espresso and eating yummy flatbread...don't worry, it's a smoothy-ran operation!  The large "open-play" structure is any kids' dream.

If you stop in you can relax on a comfortable couch while the kids have a ton of fun.  It's just a great overall place and we are lucky it's near our neighborhood! - Elizabeth O; 5 stars Yelp
We love Bodies in Motion! Excellent huge play area that keeps the kids entertained for hours. We've taken Taekwondo for the kids and done the adult exercise classes. All of the instructors are
top notch and really care about their students. - Gina Hodge; 5 stars Facebook
Great family place! It's fun for kids and adults or...it can be relaxing for adults too. It's the best of both worlds. The martial arts program is top notch. Parent's night out is a blessing. And now I have discovered a convenient and challenging way to get myself in shape through their workout programs. Oh, and if you don't have time to prepare dinner? Well, they have a healthy alternative there too. The staff is friendly and the facility is clean. - Anonymous; 5 stars Google

What Our Clients Are Saying

Awesome place to take kiddos to use up their energy. Our son is almost 2. What I liked about this place was that we could join him in exploring the play area. The slides are big enough. They also have adult classes. I love their kickboxing class.

Becca M.

I have a 2 year old and an 8 month old. Mornings here are lovely when it's quiet- the 2 year old can climb and slide every where while the 8 month old can crawl around on the cushioned ground. The coffee is delicious too!
