End Screen Time by Empowering Your Child with Martial Arts
Bodies in Motion's Martial Art Classes are empowering kids to take back their lives from the black hole of screen time and electronic devices!
First, Meet The Founder of our Martial Arts Program
Dear Friend,
My name is Duncan Richardson, founder of Bodies in Motion. My wife Rachel and I have been teaching Taekwondo and fitness in Boise for over 20 years. And, it's been the most impactful thing we've done in our community. As you'll soon see, our program empowers kids to take control of their life. |
Today, we're battling something called "screen time." Believe me, we know! We have 4 kids of our own.
We've carefully designed and refined our curriculum, over the past 20 years, to provide lessons in character development in every single class.
Students are empowered to be more disciplined...
...empowered to be more focused
...empowered to be more active
...empowered to be more motivated by social interaction
Our secret weapon is that we empower kids to achieve. And, kids get hooked on it! Watch, as your child's confidence soars!
But, don't take our word for it. Read what others have said about our program.
I hope to meet you soon.

What Kids & Parent's Have to Say About Bodies in Motion Martial Arts
This little ninja had just turned 3 years old when she saw her big brother take a Taekwondo class at Bodies in Motion. She turned and asked if she could try it, too. Fast forward six years later, and she was ready to test for her first black belt by the age of 9. Our biggest wish for her during her time spent training is that she would learn perseverance, strength and confidence. With help from her instructors, she accomplished this and more! We would definitely recommend Bodies in Motion for Taekwondo training! -Kristi Ryan |
Both of my son's have gone through the whole program to earn their black belts. The confidence that comes from seeing hard work, perseverance, and dedication is priceless from a mother's standpoint. The program not only teaches a valuable art and skill, it instills the kind of quality of character you want and try to teach in your kids all in a fun, positive and healthy environment. -Gina Cafiero |

Q. Will it make my child aggressive?
A. Not at Bodies in Motion. Our program gives children an outlet to expend energy. Kids that are typically aggressive will usually become less aggressive. Also, when kids have a place to practice self defense skills on a regular basis, they are less interested in using these skills outside the classroom.

Q. Will my child have fun?
A. Our program is a very dynamic and exciting activity. We disguise repetition, incorporate games, and reward students.
At the same time, our program is designed to teach students character. By design, we make it so students have to overcome physical and mental obstacles. There are times when your child will have to work very hard to achieve their next rank. The process builds grit, confidence, and self-discipline.
